LOL what shop told you that? Is your theft light flashing fast? If that was the case the car would have started and ran for about 5 min due to the fuel in the line. Anti theft kills the fuel pump.

I have had every wiring harness out of my car and it still runs.

You got something loose.
If what you say is true, then that varies depending on year model. When my PATS system is tripped and my theft like blinks the only thing the car will do is turn over. It will never crank or run at all.

Mine just turns over. The reason they think it is PATS is because the Mileage reads - straight across. I could have triggered it by some engine work or my clutch. I had to disconect the quadrant to get the cable out of the way.

If the light comes on then I don't know. Your gonna have to take it to ford. Hard to diagnose over the net. I don't know why PATS would be triggered. You must have grounded out something during install. Did you have the battery disconnected during install (should always be done with any engine work). Double check all ground straps driver and passenger side of block and back of passenger head. Insure nont of the wires are grounding out especialy the COP wires that will trigger pats. Clutch has nothing to do with it.

Have your friend put his ear to the fuel tank when you turn the key on to be 100% sure its pats. If he hears the fuel pump kick in then its not.

Yes. Its been on the car for 3 years. I put my stock cams back in for economy and before I started it I was going to set the car back to stock settings because,I had it tuned for the comp cams. It read "cant find vehicle type". I called diablosport to ask them. The guy I talked to was very rude and wouldn't let me explain so i hung up on him....terrible customer support

WTF am I thinking? PATS would throw a code that you would be able to scan and read. There is no way its pats cause it wouldnt kill your computer. P1260 would be the code for theft detected vehicle disabled.

It has to be a power problem to the ECU so check all wires and all fuses.
