hey cut the wires you bollted down. and then check the underhood fuse box for fuse 26. its a 30 amp fuse. i bet its bad. it controls power to the pcm. so install a new fuse. and tape the ends of the broken wires for now to get you home so they won't sort out again.
check that fuse but it would'nt hurt to take the time to check them all just to be positive there not bad.

first did you disconnect the wires that were bolted down. those are power wires from the ignition coils. and there has to be a blown fuse. did you check all the fuses under the hood. check them all one by one if you have to. becuase when those wires are grounded it will blow the fuse for the pcm power relay.
What? Dude stop. That wire I circled is not for ignition coils. They are so you dont get that whinning noise in your speakers when RPMs increase. They are just grounds. They are called radio ignition interference capacitor. If you don't believe me here is my thread on how to build an engine that I included the wiring harness layout from my FORD TECH MANUAL https://mustangforums.com/m_3081129/tm.htm

I am still waiting on an answer if you checked your cigarette lighter and the pin in the obd II port. I can not help anymore until I know.

When checking the fuses, are you checking them with an ohm meter, or just looking at them. I have seen a couple times fuses blow, and look 100% good. I would check resistance on the fuses, and not count on your eyes.

To me, this sounds like either a ground on the main harness was left off, the ECM is not getting powered, or both. If all you did was pull the cams, then it has to be something in the harness under the hood, or a blown fuse. I guess it could possibly be a fried ECM is you shorted the wrong wire as well.

Man I checked every plug to that stupid wiring harness....what happend to the good ol days when there was just a carb and no pats, and electronics everywhere? lol the only thing I screwed up on was bolting those resistors up to the block by shaving the wires and mounting them because I thought they were grounds....

Pin 16 check it for power. If no power then you have a ground off.

No power to the ciggatette lighter then bad fuse.

I had the same exact problem that this guy had when my computer went bad (dashes across the odometer, crank no start, theft light flashing). I had a diablosport delta chip and I guess one of the horns on the chip gouged a part of my circuit board and the computer when bad. I went through all of the PATS crap and found that the computer wasn't communicating. I then went on ebay and luckily I found a computer with the exact same four digit code as mine for $15.00. I put it in and the car cranked right up. I then switched to a SCT xcalibrator2 no more piggyback chips for me.

Try to find a computer with the exact same code as yours on ebay. I really believe it's your computer. If you really feel adventurous, take your computer out and open it up. See if there are any damaged circuits.
