Ok lets get this all straight. Is this what your are talking about that you broke?

This is what I want you to check. It controls your fan, PCM, PATS and one other thing I cant remember right now. Its a relay. If something is wrong with it then it would cause all of your symptoms.

Check to make sure the wires around the relay are pluged in and have ford check that relay for you. Did you do the other checks to see if the pcm is dead or not? Is that the thing in the pic that you broke?

Yes and yes 1vryfststang

Yeah I have seen it. My buddy has one he is using in his F1r powered GT. He was making 810 rwhp with a P-51 and making 903 with the Logan. I would get if it was cheaper or wait till a better one comes out and he buys it and I take his hand me down logan

Well, We checked the fuse in that box. It is fine. I've checked every fuse related to the PCM. Any other ideas?

first did you disconnect the wires that were bolted down. those are power wires from the ignition coils. and there has to be a blown fuse. did you check all the fuses under the hood. check them all one by one if you have to. becuase when those wires are grounded it will blow the fuse for the pcm power relay.

If there are hot or power wires like you state why are they then bolted to the block on both sides? ? Thats what looses me with the crazy things. Unless were the are like hot then go into that ceramic piece and it cut the circuit and has a ground side.. Please explain I would love to know. BTW I check the relay 30a breaker, fuse, relay, w.e it is on the picture above ox. I just pulled it and used a ohm meter and it read 0.00 through the circuit...that means it is good right? Thanks for all your guys help...

For your first question the capacitors are acting like a load much like a light bulb. If you take the load out of the ckt and ground the power wire it will blow a fuse.
And for your second question the reading you have is good. But check the fuses in the under hood fuse panel by the battery. there will be a fuse in there blown the gives power to your pcm power relay. which explains why you can't communicate with the pcm ,and also explains the dashes in the cluster display.
