if i take off the ford logo and the gt emblems will it leave any factory holes? just do the old dental floss and credit card trick to remove them?
I used fishing line to remove mine, the dental floss kept breaking.

On the trunk lid the GT will have no holes, but the Ford badge will, on the fenders all will have holes.

I could be wrong, but I think that I read on another thread somewhere that the cobra spoiler will not cover the holes left from your stock GT spoiler. If that is the case, then there will be significant cost in filling and repainting those holes. Just a warning....

also it depends on what spoiler your stang came with. there are 2 different spoilers used for the 99-04 gt stangs. earlier ones have a wrap around spoiler and the later ones use a flat raised spoiler.

doesnt matter what year spoiler you have the cobra wing will not cover the exsisting holes. you will need a wingless trunk or have the holes filled and painted

I removed my GT emblems with fishing line, heating them up would have probably been a good idea, but it didnt come to mind. Cobra emblems would be a bad idea, but AM.com makes the 4.6HO emblems modeled after the older stangs emblems that I find sekzy. to each his own, its your car, but to put emblems from a performance version on something that is not, is an insult to everyone who does own a gt. Yea the snake looks cool, but if other peoples opinions are really what makes you drive that car, maybe mustangs and these forums arent for u. I hear honda makes some "trick" rides?
