Default Upgraded Brakes?

I was doing some detail work before the car show the other day and I had the front wheels off and i noticed that the front brake calipers say PBR Brakes. I've got a 2002 GT, did those come stock or did the previous owner upgrade the front calipers?

PBR made all of the OEM brakes for the Mustang for New Edges, as far as I know, not sure about the 95-98's, but I think they did those as well...

Not bad, however the rear brakes seem to have an issue with the dust boots on the caliper guide pins, so you may want to keep an eye on them...

PBR Made calipers for a bunch of GM's as well, I am currently checking with a local guy in car club I'm in to see if we can mount a cts-v caliper onto the front as they have a similar bolt pattern (not exact but 5x4.5's will work on those cars, they have 5x115 bolt patterns while ours are 5x114.3) It'll be awhile tho as noone wants to purchase a set of them and not know if they work lols.

To the OP, if they say PBR on them, odds are they are oem replacements. The OEM ones don't have anything on them (looking at my stock gt calipers atm)

Just chuck those POS's and buy Wilwood SLP6's! LOL! Just kidding! I'm sure they're fine!
