Default 4.6 engine

Ihave found a 4.6 that is supposed to have been from a 03' GT. I plan on rebuilding with forged internals. Is there anything that I need to look for? I have a 00' GT with a manual trans. I want to make sure it will work with no issues before sending it to the machine shop. Thanks.

romeo or windsoris the only difference but both will fit your car I have a 2000 gt also. the only thing that would make a difference is if you have an 6 or 8 bolt crank if one engine is different you'll need a different flywheel if you don't already have it
