Please - HELP! (Exahust Issues)
Ok guys my brother just got a 02 Mustang GT like mine for a great deal. The only catch is he has some minimal repairs that need to be done. He has two broken studs on the exhaust manifold and a o/r x is barely hangning on there. No one will touch itwithout the cats, as far as i know, but we do have the stock h-pipe assembly in our possesion. What should be done? Thinking about going straight to l/t headers, but where shouldwe look into getting this done? A normal exhaust shop won't do it, right? Either way, a custom exhaust is needed. Who could do this, or even better, any places recommened in Ohio?
Thanks, any help reallyappreciated.

I don't see why a normal Exhaust shop won't do it. Check around and find out. If it turns out they won't work on it, find a friend or 'Back Yard' shop that you trust and have them do the work for you.
I'm in delaware county (lewis center). Closer to Columbus. I knowwe could replace those, but this is a great excuse for some long tube headers! Any ideas? Thanks guys.
My local exhaust shop said they wouldn't touch my car w/o cats b/c they are getting cracked down on for emissions reasons. They said if you get caught w/o them they will trace who did the work and can fine them up to like $20k. idk my $.02
I know, it sucks! why can't we pollute while we still have gas to pollute with! lol, my .02 also! maybe they will be legally allowed to work on it as long as its replaced with cats.
any experience with this?
