Default computer code

i want to buy the xcal 3 from american muscle but i need my computer code and the way they show you is to take off your right front plastic but i tried and this seems like alot of work. anyone know of an easier wayto find this out??? I have a 2002 GT, anyone have the xcal 3? is it worth it????? i had a diablo and didnt like it much.

The code is also on a sticker on the passenger door were the latch and striker meet.

Yea, unfortunatly that is the only other place. Mine has came off over time though.

Its not really that big of a deal to pop the kick panel off there, you'll be fine.

I recommend that you get your tuner from Brenspeed instead of American Muscle. Brenspeed (from what I hear) have alot better tunes. There are the #1 SCTdealer in the country.

brenspeed only has the xcal 2 and its the same price as the new xcal 3????? whats the difference? i was just goin for the newer version.

They are basically the same, I think there is only 2 options that are different, even though I cant remember what they are right now. The XCal 2 is a "tried and true" tuner and you wont be dissapointed. Remember, newer is not always better.

Like I said, American Muscle is a great company and I've gotten plenty of things from them, but when it comes to the tunes that they write, they tend to bepretty weak.
