They wanted a better flowing, slightly louder exhaust tone for the new body style and "new" engine.

how will it fit?
Look at the aftermarket pieces, i've heard many many times before where ppl with new edges buy the piipe for a 96-98 and it will not fit right. Not to mention the aftermarket H pipes have diffrent part numbers for diffrent years, even the off road ones
