ya i found a used pair for pretty cheap..check craigslist
Get that deal. Install time on mine was 2.5 Hours(excessive laziness). Be sure to use the stock crankshaft pulley bolt on your UDPs, the bolt(longer than stock) that Steeda supplies is just to seat the pulley into the engine...Not to install it
awesome! thanks for that tip!

It's a alright mod for under 100$ but anything more than that then I'd just kick the old lady out of the car before you race. Steeda is the best brand if you want to know. March is second, and everything else sucks. The only charging issue you'll have is a preexisting one and wouldn't be because of the UDP's.

The best description of how UDP's feel is:
UDP's are like driving around all day with the A/C on then turning it off.

Don't expect much because there isn't much to be gained. If you really want save reciprocating HP loss then get a electric water pump. It's a true 15rwhp every time.

SLP sucks? bah...i think not. SLP is not exactly known for putting out shotty parts.

i'd take them over march ands steeda's (and did) any day....not trying to argue, just putting imho. there are decent brands of pulleys out there.....the main thing to look for is SFI approved. as long as they are SFI approved, then they wont be piggyback style.

edit: and dont worry about charging issues.....the only way i could see that happening is if you had a big *** sound system that uses a ton of power.

SLP does make good products, I agree. Find them used under 100$ to make them worth it. I have not used or known anyone to use SLP UDP's and if I don't know anyone that has used them, then I wouldn't want to be the first to try them out. You're happy with your SLP's that's good. +1 for SLP but I just think the Steedas would be the best to get if he's going to do it.
