Default E-Fan Remote Switch

I cant ever seem to get the "search" feature to work on this site for some reason.

Not to long ago, there was a thread on here about how to hook up a toggle switch to control a E-Fans on the Mustangs. I was looking for that thread, as it had a diagram, and a certain wire that you could tap into from the ECU to bypass and turn the fans on manually. (sitting in the staging lanes with the car in Acc. mode and allow the fans to run for a little bit to help cool the car)

If someone can find this will you post a link,

If someone can explain to me how to use this sill azz search function I'd be appreciative!

Thanks In Advance!
Tom

Just find the power wire to the fan, splice into it, run a switch between that and a fuse on the distribution block, and it should work.

Your fan will be grounded already, so all you need to do is find the power wire going to it and energize it.

for you its pin 46 at the pcm/ its a light green wire with a purple tracer. All you have to do is tap into that wire and run it to a switch. and from the other terminal on the switch you would run that to ground. And your good to go. The cooling fan will work like normal and when you want it on just flip the switch. The only crappy thing about wiring it this way is that the key has to be in the on position to work.
