ZW, yea that's why i have to go with shorties because i do not want to redo my exhaust! i didn't catch that. It's a 5spd. Sorry for calling it a shift kit Steve. i just didn't know how to spell Steeda Tri-ax or tria-x or Tri-x or whatever
lol either way, i would do a short throw shifter and a tune

the only reason i didn't already get a tuner was because i thought after doing a few more mods (like the ones i listed) i would need her custom tuned again. I know you can change these parameters in the tuner, but i thought with changing more and more bolt on's a custom tune would be required. Like: i'm probably in the middle of bolt on mods, why get a tune now and later? that make sense at all or am i way off?

if you are planning on doing more bolt-ons, wait on the tuner, get the shift kit, ans t/b and plenum

yeah i would wait on the tune

I bought the throttle body and plenum and i didnt feel a major difference. All that 10hp gain is bs. You get like 2 or something (maybemore after a tune, but not sure).
I don't even know if I felt any difference at all-either it was because i got a 75mm and its too big or if the power comes after you tune.

Definitely get the shift kit tho!! I love my Tri-ax

Just my opinion

yea thats basically what im planning on. If i start the next phase of modding i guess i'll stick with the 2V. I just created another thread in the svt section though...I'm thinking about just trading her in for a terminator. Modding is a blast and addicting and all but i think it may just be alot cheaper to start w/ a cobra then mod

honestly i felt little gains throughout all of my add-ons. t/b and plenum will give you alot better throttle response, it seems more even, but when i tuned, it was a whole different car, it felt like i gained 30hp

I recommend you go with the following providing you can do the install to save a boat load of money. Otherwise I would put money toward tb and a blower.

1) SCT Hand Held to change your shift points
2) *Unequalled length Headers
3) Mid Pipe of your choice and catback if you don't already have one
4) Tune

* I say Unequalled length headers if you go with a blower (Centri) down the road with will perform better than long tubes.

Note - you will never have enough power
