False ABS Activation

RE: False ABS Activation
you have an abs sensor signal that is dropping out. the only good way to tell is to use a top of the line scan tool tool monitor the speed at each sensor while braking. one will drop to 0 before the rest , it will either be that sensor or the tone ring for that sensor that is giving you problems

RE: False ABS Activation
When I was replacing brakes last week, the Haynes manual warned of getting air in the ABS unit. Could that have happened when you changed the brake fluid?
Otherwise, I had this happen before on two cars. Both times it was a cracked ring.
Edit: Sensor to Unit. That's what I meant to say, but didn't.

air in the abs sensor? i think they mean air in the abs unit. even if there was air in the hydraulic system it wont cause abs activation. most of the time it is a cracked ring, but i have seen the sensors go bad too
