Ok so i started my car this morning and the E-Brake light wouldnt go off but the ebrake is down and i dont want to drive it until its fixed. Any ideas to whats wrong with it. Oh and also recently (3 days) when I drive I hear a hissing sound.

if your brake light is on then that means there is a problem in your brake system somewhere and may not be your e brake. get a diagnostic done and that will tell you.

Check your brake fluid level and top it off if it's at all under being full. I replaced my pads and caliper bracket on my car and we had to bleed the lines a bit and that light kept coming on for me too but when I topped off my fluid all was well.
