Default Camber Bolts?

Appears that the search function is broke still, so I need to see what people think about this. I have a 96GT with the eibach pro-kit installed. I also have the KYB GR-2 shocks and struts. I have been reading mixed reports on the need of camber plates with the pro-kit. I took the car to an alignment shop, and I am pretty sure they made it worse than it was. They said they could take no more of the - camber out. I was looking at summit racing, and they sell camber bolts that say they can remove -/+ 1.75 degrees of camber.

Question is, is there a downside to camber bolts? I don't race the car or anything, just drive around town. I don't plan on making adjustments once it is in spec. Will they work for what I need?

Ive used them on 2 different vehicles, and both times they worked great for me. Cheap alternative to CC plates, and you get the same results.
