Default ? concerning Diagnostics...

Ok i am running into a problem in regards to getting my stang inspected. I know in order for it to get inspected they hook up to the ECU. I recently had a service engine light on so i saw what the code was and cleared it with my predator due to itbeing the 2nd O2 sensor (dont have one). After i cleared it, it is saying OBD systems readiness test not complete (P1000). Now my car wont pass inspectionuntil that test is complete. I was told that you have to run it around 100 miles for the test to complete itself. I have 202 miles since then and it still says the test is not complete?? Is there any other way to speed this process up or any other info in regards to this?? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys....

in order to reset the p1000 code. You have to reset the emmision whichcan be a pain in the *** sometimes. You have to drive it at a cruise a steady 50mph for a few minutes. And to reset the egr monitor you have to do a normalacceleration from 0 to 45 three times. Andalso to reset the evap monitor thecar has to sit for atleast 6 hours and see a cold start. And most of theother monitors willset while driving at a cruising speed. Now if your running an off road xpipe. Your gonna have to turn the rear o2's offusing your predator. And will always have a p1000 code. And if your state is anything like mine you are allowed one monitor to not be set.And you should pass.

yes i do have an o/r x-pipe. All of the codes are cleared except for the OBD testing not complete. NY is very strict i dont believe they allow one monitor not to be set. Is there any other way to get rid of this. If not i cant get my car inspected this is starting to get very frustrating. Any info would be great thanks guys

Unless you have the rear O2 sensors turned off via a tune, or MIL eliminators, the o/r pipe will just keep throwing codes and the P1000 code will never reset. If they are very picky the lack of cats will probably cause to to fail the visual inspection anyway...
