Where are you located at? Things like track conditions and altitude can make a big difference. You should be able to run low 8's no problem with some decent tires. My auto'03 GT with x-pipe, 4.10's, canned tune, and LCA's ran 8.5's on crappy Khumo tires.

No i dont have a programmer but im leaning into buying the sct. But maybe i should just wait for a dyno tune. I live in Los Angeles and the weather is not that great. its very humid and hot right now.

Price was a factor and b-cuz i was told that i-beams withstand a lot more power. Im not looking for more than 400rwhp so that was a factor. I'm not pushing it to the limit. STtcking to that hp and hopefully hit 10s with a fully gutted car and high stall + gears.
