im goin to put my new tranny intommorow and about how many miles should the break-in period be

in all seriousness

i put my trans in on a friday around 3pm... and was making drag radial passes on it at 6pm that night...

so **** break in.

alright that works for me but the way my luck is goin here lately im gonna drive it for about 100 miles or so before givin it any hell

i drove about 30-50, then made 5 passes on it, and drove it arond that night...


i think about it this way... how many of those 8, 9 and even 10 sec cars you see at the track do you think they break their **** in? do they make tons of easy passes so its broken in? or do they usually go ***** out on run 2 or 3?

thats true but i dont think our track is open again until like the 30th so it will for sure be good and broke in before i make it back down there
