Mustang wont start, ecu/ wiring problem?
I recently bought a 97 mustang gt with a cracked block. I replaced the engine with a 96 engine that I did a pi swap to , long story short engine is in the car everything appears hooked up but its not starting or even trying. The starter wont even try to move, and the engine spins freely so no timing prolems. All that happens when I try to start it is I hear the fuel pump getting ready and the abs system click WTF. Very stressed out right now lol ill work on it again tomorrow, maybe. Does this sound like a PATS problem? God I hate wiring..

So the starter is not kicking in? have you tried shorting the starter to ground to see if that will kick it in?
Wiring is not really bad, just takes some thought. Need to eliminate all the common issues and go from there.
If no starter, check grounds and hot to the starter. If it cranks, but no fire, find out if it is fuel or spark.
Let me know.
