Default Silly cam question...

are these stage 2 or 3 cams..

COMP CAMS Extreme Energy high lift cams 0.550”/0.550” lift, 242/246 duration

Well assuming that the duration numbers you posted are at a .050" lift, then I am pretty sure they are stage 3.

You can try searching, since thats what we have to do. Not many people know cam specs right off the top of their head.

if u look at the requirements for comp cams if it says somethin like 3.55+ gears required its stage 2 and if its 3.73+ gears required its stage 3...i beleive

different companies have different stages/lift, ive seen a stage 6(yes stage 6) with slightly less lift than another companies stage 3.
