Default need help, urgently

hey guys i just bought a diablosport predator, and turns out one of my mustangs previous owner had allready tuned my car and doesnt have the tuner. the predator wont write over a exsisting tune, and ford wants 300 dlls to reset my pcm to stock, does anybody know any other way?

Unfortunately no... Either get chummy with the ford dealership or find a person who tunes cars. Either way, you'll be spending money.

Find another PCM that is identical to yours (generation wise) and use that one instead. You may even be able to find another PCM with your same processor code.

FYI - For your generation of PCM it will include 1 numerical digit and 3 alphabetical letters. For example - GTG2

We charge 85.00 to reflash PCM's here at the dealership i work for.Its basically a 1 hour fee of 85 an hour 300 is insane.

Even ANDERSON FORD MOTORSPORTS which is 20 minutes from my house isnt that high.

yea i talked to one of the mechanics directly and he said he could do it for 95 dollars. turns out the guy i talked to on the phone wasnt to sure on what he was talking about. thnx guys for the help.
