QLLR400

i recently found out i may have to buy a new engine, because one of my pistons could be damaged. if i get the 5.4 2V street mod 900 from MMR, what would be the best cooling system for it? i have a Vortech blower on it currently running 10-12 psi. the shop im gonna have my car checked out at said they can get it to run 16 psi and produce 600+ hp. any help would be great.

If you want cheap, the 03/04 cobra radiator is a nice piece at a relatively good price. Other than that, the stock mustang cooling system is fairly good from the factory.

If you want to spend money, an electric water pump would help, but it's a question of "is it $350 better?"

A bigger radiator is all you would really need.

I have a vortech supercharged 2v 5.4 and I have absolutely no cooling issues. A bigger radiator wouldn't hurt anything but it hasn't proven itself necessary.
