When I called the dealership a while back I think they called it an "upper cowl panel"

I've heard it called "windshield cowl" and "cowl panel". They are expensive brand new, so your best bet would be to try to find one at a junk yard

good luck at a junkyard. A. i cant even find our bodystyle mustangs at a yard. B. if you do fine one 99.9% of the time the cowl is going to be smashed to hell or not even there. I paid $190.## for my cowl peice from my local ford dealer.

i found a 94-98 one for $15 at my local junky. i thiink it is called wiper cowl.
