guess the point here is... CHECK THE MANUAL. And, if all else fails, there's this cool thing that Ford put in the engine bay... it's called a DIPSTICK. Add a couple quarts, check the dipstick... keep adding a quart at a time until you see it start to creep up the dipstick, then fill until you're in the middle of the hash-marked area.
