sqeaking or clunking or creaking? if its a SQEAK i had the same kind of noise...it was coming from the steering column itself....simple lube job fixed that....i would try to verify the exact location of the noise before you throw a hundred some bucks + an alignment (unless you mark the tie rods) + labor

Did this work? I also have a 99 mustang gt with the same issue. I would prefer to buy the tube brackets but the ones listed on the site are for 02-04. I couldn't find the part anywhere, couldn't even find the 02-04 ones without the part number listed in the fix it article. So if anyone knows where I could find the tube brackets for a 99 I would really appreciate it.
