porting EO plenum

RE: porting EO plenum
i wouldn't bother with the stock tb, a 70mm unit would be the way to go. a while back one of the members here, mdvaldosta, put up a description and pictures of what he did. i pretty much did the same thing, except i didn't bother with the outside of the unit. its pretty easy, but will take you about 3-4 hours because you'll want to go slowly. basically, you want to smooth it out and remove the casting ridges which cause turbulence and decrease flow. course, you should be somewhat skilled at using a dremel or similar rotary tool.

RE: porting EO plenum
Ok let me say something here. I installed a 75 mm TB & plenum combo from accufab. It made a heck of a diference in my car. Have no experience with porting the stock plenum so I couldn't tell you if there is any diff. I could tell you this the $400 I spent was woth it. I'm also putting a blower so that's the real reason behind me going that route so I just give u my expirience and you make your decision.
