Default Imaginary Shortblock Build

Well, parts are back from my machine shop and it's time to begin another shortblock assembly.

This is just imaginary though, as I don't own/know how to use any of the parts below according to some members.

So for now, let's get acquainted with the parts I'll be using:







Here are the correct main and rod bearings for use in a Romeo iron block:




Here are the quality Diamond pistons that I use in almost every build.








And lastly, the Modmax H Beam Rods (ARP 2000 Cap Screws) are some of the highest quality rods you can purchase. I use these almost exclusively in all builds:

As of today, I have completely deburred the block and checked all clearances. Everything was well within my specifications, so I'm ready to file the rings and begin assembly tomorrow.

I'm building it for someone else, not me. They will be using it in a blown 2V car.
