Yes you can get a handheld tuner for a 96 cobra gains arent as impressive as if you have mods though. I picked up 13 hp on a custom dyno tune but my tuner costed 370 and my dyno tune was 300. Thats alot for 13 hp. The bad part about the 96-98 cars is you CANNOT adjust for a gear swap with the tuner because the speedo is mechanical.If you are going to get a dyno tune do what I should have done, get a mid pipe and port match your imrc's and shorten your intake runers then your tune should be a night and day difference.Ive heard of cars with a similar set up scraping the 300 rwhp mark.
