Default Throwing Code P0307

Son just had CEL come on today, stopped by autozone and code P0307 came up #7 misfire. Did some searching on the forum and most info talks about changing plugs and possibly coil. I've heard some mention of COP (is this a coil) also read allot of guys recommend motorcraft or autolite plugs and OEM coils. Any info you all can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Scott

Get a motorcraft plug...and replace it, clear the code and retest... If the misfire comes back...replace the coil with Ford one.
