whether or not you see decent gains is pretty much dependant on what year your running, and how aggressive of a setup you have.
If you have a pre 02', you will see a decent difference in reliability and a couple of other areas of performance, especially if yours are starting to fail.
If you have a 02'+, you will see absolutely no difference, unless your running 600+hp.
The 99-01' model year's used a decently unreliable design for the CoP's, and they failed quite often. They fixed the problem in 2002, and usually when they fail on the 99-01', people are forced to upgrade to a full set of the redesigned pieces which sell from ford at $90+ a piece. The local ford dealership has 30 of them sitting on the shelf, which is $2700 of merchandise, which they wouldn't have if they were just sitting there. They knew that they were going to move them
I put the msd coils on my car, didn't really notice a difference, but I was told of course you also have to use the msd ignition box to see a difference on my '98
