An aftermarket intake is better than your stock intake tube BUT it wont give you very much power. It was worth it to me so I got the densecharger intake for $170 at www.demolet.com

Default RE: intake question

i bought the fipk for my 04 and ended up putting my stock tube back on with the fipk assembly and could not tell one bit of difference in performance, maybe a little bit better performance after the engine is running for awhile and alot of heat is getting built up.the stock tube allowed me the get the filter right next to the fender well instead of being too close to the radiator.
