Its fine I understand I was not trying to call you out. Ive been looking at autotrader and around my area most clean Cobras are going for nothing less then $25,000. When it comes time to buying one what kind of price range should I be looking at?

Cobra's range from 18-24k.

If you can get one for around 20k without the head tick and low miles (wich they all have) then i would go for it. Try craigslist

What is the head tick? How rare are Saleen Cobras and what price do they run for?

Thank you for looking that up, I didnt expect anyone to go that far. What was so special about that model? Prestige of having one or just a better faster car?

I do know they both had the same HP, 390, from the factory + the typical Saleen decals, badges....interior might be a little different for the $$$, they cost between $48k to 52k new! .....that would be my ultimate car!

The head tick is something that occurs in the termis because of lack of cooling, you can buy head cooling kits for right around $120 not a big deal.

the 04 cobra is by far the most superior model till its date,(new edges and older) except i think the last stage saleens handle better, but are still SRA? bottom line Cobras makes the most power out of all the production stangs (where more than like 300 were made) and has the most potential.

The head tick really is not a big deal then, that's good. You can always upgrade suspension. I thought they put down a lot more then 300 to the wheels.
