The first mods I did were throttle body/plenum, exhaust (mid pipe and catback) and gears. For a few extra bucks, I'd hold off on the CAI and chip and get the exhaust.

 

I went to my locall shop to get the chip and have them installed. He is a diablo dealer, he got the chip blank from diablo but he told them what mods I had and they made the program. Diablo emailed the program to the shop and he burned the program on the chip.

i have a question i hear about special tunes and stuff if you have longtubes, well what do i need to do? I have a diablo predator right now and just put the diablo tune on it is there any settings i can change on the diablo tuner to help my headers? Am i hurting my car by not having it tuned right?

 

You're probably running lean. Find out your A/F ratio on a dyno or with a wideband O2 datalogger and add fuel (rich or "-" with the Predator) if need be.

So the programmer is better than the chip? Do you ever need a chip if you just keep reprogramming the stock chip?
