I just look at what I paid for my '99 4 years ago. 48K, 99% stock, 5sp, excellent condition, 9500...
so its a car 2 years older, 4 years later, with more miles, for only 2500 less?
I mean, if it's in excellent shape, maybe,, but you can't know that before you buy it and you've had it for a few thousand miles.

well im also thinking in terms of insurance. ive been in trouble with tickets the past couple of years and think if i can sell my 04' now get some out of it, then buy the 97' keep it for a couple of years then pedal that. hopefully it will be time for that terminator. with the extra money i will get from selling the 04' i can put into the 97' and get some kind of power adder(procharger) with supporting mods.
and yes the 97' is in EXCELLENT condition inside and out. and no rust cause i live in arizona

Thats the thing that gets some of you guys, you must understand that the price doesn't always revolve around the motor of a car, but it's overall condition. Look around in any classifieds, if you find a 94-98GT with around 55k miles for $5k (retail or even private) let me know. I see a lot of them on classifieds online go from $5k-$6k but they also have much more than 55k miles.
