Once you start getting into the 400+ hp, the car is really not worth driving daily. That's just my $.02. My car is nowhere near 400hp and i hate driving it daily. I need a honda! I've riden in a 450 hp mustang and a 500hp ws6, both were rough *** rides. I'm sure there are high hp cars out there that don't ride rough, but all the ones i've rode in were harsh.

This is really a good question for the SVT guys, some of them push crazy HP and they still use their cars as a DD.

It all depends on what kinda poweradder you are using. N/A 600-700 hp car is gonna be a bitch.

A 1200rwhp turbo car might be able to drive everyday as smooth as stock (on a different tune)
