4.6 crate engine and transmissions-cheap!
I thought I would post this link-seems like a good deal for someone needing a replacement:

its really not, a 260hp stock 4.6 with an auto tranny for $4300 is not exactly a bargan you can find 99s for like 8k now so...

IDK, don`t seem like a bad price for a brand new drivetrain. I wonder how much it would cost from your friendly Ford stealership.
