STILL WON'T START
... do you have all your tools? missing anything? lol...
it could happen. it happen to me when i did my lowering springs. i had the car driving around for a couple days and kept hearing some rattling. WTF? so i checked the springs and i, for who knows how, left the socket wrench attached to one of the bolts?!?!?
yes, im an idiot

Now i will have bad dreams about tools being left where it shouldn't be. lol. But no all tools are accounted for.
And i want to clarify what i said earlier. I wouldn't really consider that i had brief startups, just what sounded like it had everything necessary to start and was just a second away from start up. if you were to time how long it "started", it was less than a millisecond or whatever is smaller than that number lol.

well that sucks dude. i know how frustrating these things can be and how it can drive you nuts... im sorta going through the same thing right now with my car, my ABS module and lights keep acting up, im going insane! so i can relate. let us know what happens and what it turns out to be, im really curious now. good luck!
check for power at your fuel injectors with the key on. Should be the red wire. should have aprox 12 volts. If you have that. you can try taking a 194 automotive light bulb. same kind of bulb used for the tag lights. and bend the contact tabs back so you can insert it into a fuel injector connector. Now crank the engine and see if it pulses. And take it from there.
I know this sounds silly and you have probably sat staring at the motor for hours on end, but did you connect all of the fresh air intake tubes including the bypass tube from before the throttle body into the IAC? If that's unhooked, your car will either idle really sloppy or not at all. Just one of those simple things. Hopefully your just a knuckle head and that solves your problem? Well I hope so, for your sake...lol
hopefully you guys can clear something up for me. I am no not 100% sure i am getting good spark. Or i am just not building enough fuel pressure to turn over. But when i pull the plugs they are soaked with fuel which means the injectors are firing but that doesn't necessarily mean i have enough fuel pressure does it? I still need to pick up a fuel pressure gauge to check that. But the reason i thought i had spark is because i had someone hold the one of my wires with a spare spark plug to see if it sparked and he felt the shock through the wire lol.
And yes everything is hooked up lol, i wouldn't trust myself building my motor if i couldn't remember to hook that stuff back up

are they new plugs? maybe theyre just soaked and needs time to dry out? maybe take out all the plugs and let the holes air out for a few hrs? if i sound like a dumbazz, i probably am, ive never done what youre doing yet. but when the time comes i will be
Pull the plugs, turn the fuel off (unplug inertia) and crank the engine over a few times to clean it out. Next take some 2+2 and clean the plugs. Install and try again. It now sounds as if you have a spark problem.
Yeah i pulled all the tape off my intake ports. That would be so funny if that was the case, i can see how the tape could be forgotten.
Do you mean to actually crank it with no plugs? so that it just blows compression out the holes? Sorry but wth is 2+2, besides 4? I will try that, thanks whitefox
