Do you mean to actually crank it with no plugs? so that it just blows compression out the holes? Sorry but wth is 2+2, besides 4? I will try that, thanks whitefox
Yes, crank it with no plugs... See if a lot of fuel shoots out from being flooded. (2+2) is gum-cutter / carb cleaner whatever you want to call it... You said the plugs were soaked... So clean them as well. I just had a crank no start with the same sort of problem, plugs were soaked, it wasnt sparking.

do you have good compression across the boards? and then my next guess would be the crank sensor. but it sounds like you checked that already.

OK. Dumb question.

What does the theft light state during cranking indicate? I have not heard of that diagnostic check before.

It means that the PATS system is not recognizing the key you are trying to start the car with. And it will blink fast while cranking if you have something wrong

so any luck with trying what white fox said in clearing out the cylinders and cleaning the plugs. Also if you would like to check spark you should be able to pick up a spark tester at any parts store i would think.

Brand new head gaskets.

I feel like an idiot, I pulled the plugs and they looked hideous lol. completely soaked with fuel. But yeah i cleaned those and cranked it for a few seconds. I don't get to work on it very often due to getting off work late. But i got everything cleaned and will try to start tonite. i am sure that was the issue. I had spark before but i guess the extended cranking just kept soaking the plugs which led to no spark.

So i guess the rule is once you check the basics,.... check 'em again.

Okay so i still have nothing. It does appear i do not have spark though. When i crank it with a plug out i can see no spark and it is dark out so i should be able to see something right? What would cause me getting no spark, they are relatively new. Coil problem? The wierd thing is that i can arc a spark from the plug if it is too close to something. Like it arced off my upper radiator hose.
