Well, it’s all about personal preference. Eibach and Steeda are both great kits. (I have the Eibachs and can’t comment on the Steeda’s, but hear that they are every bit as good as the ‘Bachs.) The Eibach Pro Kit will give you a modest 1 ¼ to 1 ½ inch drop and NOT require new C/C plates. The Sportlines will take you down to 2 inches, and it’s said that anything over 1 ½ inches requires new Camber/Caster plates (or you’ll wear down your tires).

I wanted a good drop too, but nothing too drastic. I went with the Eibach Pro Kit. It’s not slammed, but noticeably lower. The install is very easy too – took me about a ½ hour for each spring.

Hope this helps and good luck! [8D]

Can you do the install yourself or is it cheaper to get it done with the risk of getting hurt? Also, how much do they cost for the kit you got and where did you get it?

The install is cake with little to no risk to you or the car if you are careful and follow the install instructions. I used and recommend printing off and following the instructions on MustangWorld here-----> http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/...edaspring1.htm

I got my Eibach’s here for less than $230 shipped FYI------> http://optionimports.com/3510-14a.html

If you have a floor jack, jack stands and socket set, you have all required materials to do your springs (NO SPRING COMPRESSORS NEEDED). PM me if you have Q's.....

There are a couple of different styles of spring compressors and they are a good idea, but they are not necessary if you take the load off the springs first......IF YOU DO NOT TAKE THE LOAD OFF THEM they can fly out and really hurt you!!!!!!!

Here is what the BBK progressive rate springs look like on my '03 GT. Believe it or not, that's only a 1.5" drop in the front and 0.8" in the rear (click on the pic for a closer look). I used to have H&R fixed rate 1.5" all around but I changed it up to these - make sure you get PROGRESSIVE rate springs
