Default intake

can someone tell me what the best cold air intake to put on my poni... preffered one that has a cover so it wont get dirty...

well... what most people will tell you is either...

1. JLT!!!!!! RAI or CAI!!!

or

2. waste of money! remove the snorkle and drop in a K&N then call it a day.

so take that with a grain of salt...

i personally have a JLT RAI when JLT first started up and i personally dont like it that much for the fact that it is PVC with drilled holes / plastic fittings that break or fall off! i can't complain cause i got it when it first came out for dirt cheap and now the market price is too much. im actually getting rid of mine in a few weeks...

The CAI that Ford shipped with the car is the best value--it's free and performs as well as all but perhaps the JLT...

JLT is one of the best ones together with C&L as well. K&N straight shot is also a great intake.

+1 a slightly modified stock intake will preform about as well as any aftermarket intake. +/- ~2hp
