I have driven on it for about 4000 miles now, since i got it back from the head swap. It didnt start out loud. When i first fired it up after i got it back i noticed a VERY faint ticking noise. No one else could hear it but i guess since it was my car i noticed it. well about 2 weeks later is progresesd into what it is now. I have taken it by other shops and by the mechanic just listening to it for a quicky, they all have said it wasnt in the bottom end. I did a compression test this weekend and this is what i came up with.
passenger driver
4 150psi 8 180psi
3 150psi 7 180psi
2 150psi 6 180psi
1 150psi 5 145psi
Now the tick sounds like it is coming from the passenger but i dont know what the hell is wron with cylinder #5. Im thinking the cam timing is off 1 tooth on the passenger side but may not be the cause of the sound, could still be a slack adjuster. Maybe i found another problem that i have thought to be the entire time and the reason it dosnt seem to have the power it should have.

PS: when you take a lash adjuster out, is it soupposed to be able to compress any at all. i have taken all of them out but one compresses a little.
