I change my oil every 5000 miles. I use 0w20 full synthetic oil. I also change the oil in my procharger ever 5000 miles and I use Fuchs Silkolene Pro 4 Plus 5w20 in it.

So whats the difference between 5w20 and 5w30? is the higher the number the thicker it is or is it the opposite?

The "5W" refers to the resistance at cold temperatures. The lower the number the more resistant it is to becoming a thicker oil. Oil remains more flowable when compared to a 10w or 20W oil.

The "20" or "30" refers to the resistance at warmer or hotter temperatures. The higher the number the more resistant(thicker) the oil becomes so that it does not thin out or breakdown. So the oil remains thicker to retain it's normal lubricating properties.
