Yes the h-pipe sounds deep, muscular like the 87-93 5.0's (IMO the best mustang ever).
Don't get me wrong, the X-pipe is a good mid pipe but just makes the mustangs sound raspy when matched with a chambered muffler.

UPR X PIPE here too with side exiting exhaust and it sounds great!
Just DO NOT buy from THR (TEXAS HOT RODS) their customer service sucks!They sent me the wrong one and i waited 3 months before getting in contact with UPR themselves to get the right one.
Luckily though the wrong one fit my 89 so i used it and UPR said they were going to bill THR for the bad service and got 2 X pipes for the price of one.
