quick underdrive pulley question

Default quick underdrive pulley question

a friend of mine has a set of u/d pulleys for $40 the only thing is the alt pulley is still on his car. are the alt pulleys the same size?

he wants to trade me to buy the pulleys and swap my stock alt pulley for his one but i told him i wanted to have my stock pulley in case i sold the car

The Alternator pulley is much smaller then the stock one. Why do you care if you have the stock one?

Most people skip the alt pulley anyway. It doesn't make that much, if any, difference.

actually it will make the difference, they changed the alternators pulley size to accommodate for the other pulleys size differences that way you can still use the stock belt, otherwise it wont fit!

see good thing i asked. i care b/c if i got to sell the car i will revert everything i put on it back to stock and sell the parts for what they r worth
