So my new lights came today and I installed them. Bought them on Amazon.com for about $60 a light. The right side fits perfectly but the left isnt real snug in the area just fore of the yellow side-markers where it meets the fender........a little gap. I removed them again and really put a generous supply of silicone gasket in there since some water is going to get between the top of the light and the fender.
New lights do an amazing thing for the look fo the nose of the car...............

I put some good wax on both, but what is the best way to protect these things? Only wax??????

Hands down I know what you need: Rubbing Compound. That would have worked, after you wet sand it down, the rubbing compound would have taken away that milky ****ty look
