Valve spring removal
Okay so i rented the tool and i have no idea how to get the valve locks out once you have the spring compressed. It is just the small compressor from autozone and it leaves you no room to take out the lock. Does anyone know how to use this thing?
Yeah, good luck with that tool. I did it with my PI cam swap with the same tool, but even with the motor out, it was near impossible to swap out the springs. Something I would rather not have to do ever again.....
Good luck, take your time, use a magnet, and make sure to bring the piston you are working on to TDC so your valves dont fall.

I am taking apart my NPI heads to take them to a scrap yard. lol. So i don't need to do all this without causing damage because i think everything else is gonna end up getting thrown away. I would just take a hammer to it if i knew that would pop the springs out lol.
So yes my car is stilling running except for the fact i had to return my BRAND new electirc water pump becasue the bearing on the idler pulley leaked all the grease out. Oh yeah I am also waiting on my replacement readiator since my BRAND new one is leaking out one of the welds. Just my luck. My whole cooling system pretty much went out. Thank god for warranties.
BTW Meziere and Mishimoto have awesome customer service. Both of them sent out the replacement part the same day without having the oringinal shipped back to them.
