Disconnect the battery for 5-7 minutes to clear the KAM (Keep Alive Memory). That's where things like idle air and long term fuel trims are stored--it could be that the parade activity caused it to get messed up...

Time to pull the spark plugs and see what they look like, or just go ahead an replace them--how many miles of the car, what sort of driving do you mostly do (short trips, around town, highway, etc.)?

Is the SES light on?

Cleaning IAC does not work all the time. I hate when people suggest to clean the IAC, if you could somehow search IAC threads with me posting in them, there are a lot of threads where someone cleaned the IAC, claimed it didn't work, spent more money & time on parts they didn't need, only to replace the IAC in the end....

It's one of those "Do you feel lucky today?" things, I never recommend it except to say that "some have claimed to do it". The factory shop manual says:
Note: The IAC Valve Assembly is NOT ADJUSTABLE and CANNOT BE CLEANED.
And that is my official position, while not dirt cheap ($65 to $90 at your FLAPS) they are cheap enough to not dick around with--YMMV...
