Default Installing aluminum dash bezel rings, any tips?

I got a set of UPR aluminum dash bezel rings I got off eBay. Does anyone have tips on installing these??
I'm thinking I want to cut off the long oval bottom ring for the idiot lights and the small top oval ring inbetween the two large gauges so just the guages them selves have the rings to make it less cluttered looking, do you think this is possible without hurting the bezels structural integrity?

imo those are flimsy in the first place. (looked at purchasing a pair myself) I doubt it will hurt the structural integrity of them because they are held in place with double sided tape. I agree it would look better if you cut of the excess garbage that looks bad.

I too would like to see more pics of these in place also, I htink there was a run of these or something on this board, maybe those guys can post some pics up.

I too agree they would look better without the extra stuff around the idiot lights, that is not needed and makes it look cluttered.

I just got them, totally not what I was expecting.
I was expecting hard sturdy rims, not sticker foil. I'm totally glad I didn't spend $100 on these things, I would have been totally pissed. $35 was bad enough.

I feel bad for you, i bet they will look like garbage because there is no 3-D effect with them, and they actually retail for $100?

They are UPR's and are normally retail at $99 as that is what most Mustang online places have them FS at, but he is liquidating his stuff.
