Default anyone with f150?? need help

I know its not mustang related but i figured someone might have an f150 on here as a winter truck like me. My question is where on the engine is the EGR valve. I have heard near the throttle body? And also what does it look like, and how easy is it to get at??

thanks

Its on the driver side, towards the firewall. Bolts to the intake plenum. It looks like a saucer.

Why are you replacing it? Make sure the DPFE is operating correctly before you go tossing an EGR on..

I had a check engine light on that said insufficent flow or whatever it was. I looked into it and was told it was a bad egr valve. I will check both of them before buying anything though. But thank you for your help.

Insufficient flow is most likely the DPFE... Its a sensor with 2 rubber hoses goin into it, and its right next to the EGR, Its either metal or black plastic.. What was the code? Regardless of the code, remove the DPFE first and tap it on the plam of your hand, see if water comes from any of the 2 holes. I am willing to bet thats your problem, and not the EGR itself.
