Default Differentials...

For anyone who's done the switch to a 31 spline setup, is it worth the extra money to go with an Eaton or is the Trak-Loc a good enough unit? Or should I save money and go with the strongest option of just getting a spool??

Go with the trak loc. My Eaton is toast after 3 months. I've got a trak-lok in the garage waiting to go in.

Speaking of Late Model Restoration, does anybody know if we get a vendor discount from them and who I have to PM?

I have a spool in mine but haven't driven it yet but yesterday I rode in a 500hp (all motor) fox body with a spool and couldn't even tell. I rode in it to auto zone and only heard the tire chirp in the parking lot when backing out.

The only worry I have about a spool is being underpowered at the moment. I don't risk damaging anything else running a spool on a close to stock car, do I?
